Website design build and branding for the Cent Cols Challenge

New website and brand update for an ultimate cycling experience

In 2009, I developed the identity and website for the Cent Cols Challenge. Phil Deeker has been bringing his passion for cycling in the mountains to many cyclists with one of the toughest challenges around… and changing perspectives along the way.

After a long relationship with Rapha, 2019 represents a new era for Phil and the rides. It was time to update the original site and refresh the identity. Much of the content has remained the same, but with some stunning photography, a reimagined logo and some strong colours, the new website represents the ideals of the philosophy of the challenge.

Using Hugo templates as a base, the site is fast. For content management, Forestry enables Phil to update the site on a regular basis.

Simon has managed my website for ten years now and I have always been impressed on how intuitive he has always showed himself to be when I asked for something new. He has designed two different logos for me which have both met with acclaim from many different sources. He has recently completely redesigned our original site, making it more contemporary, easier to use and managing to infuse the tone of my events through the graphics used. Along side this creativity the mundane smaller 'housekeeping' tasks for the website have always been covered flawlessly by his prompt service. I am sincerely grateful to him for all he has done and I put the success of my events in part down to his flair for making my "shop window" as attractive as possible.
