Implementing Design Systems at scale and speed
In my work on a user-driven Design System for use across the platforms at Plyo I have designed, maintained, and iterated — from scratch— a Design System that takes in core components and other wider areas:
- Advocate for design initiatives being embedded and utilised across multiple teams
- Implement iterative processes to ensure seamless, unambiguous handovers and dialog
- Full patterns for states, breakpoints, and themes (dark/light/brand)
- Intuitive, integrated dashboards, data displays, and inputs to bring together the foundational UX
- Valuable prototyping tool for iterations
- Feedback loops, ranging from our own audits, customers, admin users, internal sales and creation teams, developers, and QA
- Specification and detailed design references with emphasis on workflows
